SEF participated in a one-day National Dialogue on Education Financing organized by ActionAid Nigeria in collaboration with Civil Society Action Coalition on Education for All (CSACEFA) and Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT).
The National Dialogue provided a platform for CSOs to further strengthen the capacity of their roles in supporting the delivering of educational programs in their various states and as well as providing opportunities for Government to commit to proper financing of efficient and effective educational programs and projects in Nigeria. The objective of this dialogue is to harness the thought and position civil societies play in the financing of education and to raise awareness on the need for education financing in Nigeria so as to curb the many challenges in that sector.
